EDCO, a leading manufacturer in Frederick, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk.
The Shipping Clerk will work the hours of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday. This is a full time, benefits eligible position and good attendance is mandatory to be successful in this role.
Role and Responsibilities:
Wrap packages, build boxes, print ship labels for customer orders and for the completeness and accuracy of all orders.
Review customer orders, ensuring that the correct ship label is attached to the correct customer package
Assemble various types of parts/accessories for shipment. Carry or transport orders to the shipping area
Weigh orders using computer
Follow process and procedure guidelines (hand carry export paperwork to the accounting dept. so proper address label can be generated)
Hand carry all of the day’s orders to the Accounting dept.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Incumbent shall have a High School diploma or GED. Must have basic computer skills and be able to carry, lift, reach (overhead), walk and stand for long periods of time. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Work Environment:
A warehouse setting with concrete floors may also be presented. The temperature will vary with the seasons (hot/cold). The use of stairs may be necessary, yet an elevator is available. The noise level is loud.
